Hello,
Is there a comparison available between the features of XI and webMethods?
Thanks in advance
Sudheer
Hi Sudheer,
There are infinite forums on XI advantages
Webmethods is particularly good if u have B2B kind of communication with their Trading Partners product.
Have a look here
http://www.webmethods.com/Products/Fabric/webMethodsforSAP
There are few ways to integrate WM to SAP.
1) Using SAP Adapters (uses WmPartners routing rules in IS)
2) SAPBC (webMethods BusinessConnector which has its own ISv4.6 or 4.7)
WM and SAP both involved in collaboration of BusinessConnector component which is supported by WM in the past and currently by SAP.
3) Using XI

Also nr. 4 which we use
4). We are interfacing with several third party solutions using WM and RFC's and Idoc´s on the SAP side.
But that is not the question though as I understood it. I do believe that both XI and WM can do similar things and if your big on SAP then it´s just a question of time when XI will be all you need (I Hope atleast)

Hi,
AFAIK there are no official comparisions
1. you can check it on your own
a) check XI features - you can find looots of documents on SDN
b) check webMethods:
http://www1.webmethods.com/PDF/webMethods_for_SAP-wp.pdf
2. ask XI and webMethods presales consultants to describe thier software
