Frequency set based on the fortnight in Reporting Rule

Dear Experts,

Good Day!

Is it possible in reporting rule the frequency needs to be based on the Days i.e for e.g. when i am maintaining 15 days in Reporting Rule system by default taking 01.01.2013 to 15.01.2013 and 16.01.2013 to 30.01.2013.My requirement is it should pick the dates based on the month i.e. if it is for Jan it should be01.01.2013 to 15.01.2013 and 16.01.2013 to 31.01.2013 and for Feb 01.02.2013 to 15.02.2013 and 16.02.2013 to 28.01.2013.

Kinldy suggest how to maintain the same.

Dear Jayanth,

There is no standard design for your requirement.

But if you want, that the cashflow is calculated in the same way as the

sales-based settlement you can use the report ZFIMA_MODIFICATIONS from

note 1589064:

- If you define a frequency from 15 days in the posting parameters and

  this report ZFIMA_MODIFICATIONS is available in the system

  the following cashflow periods would be calculated

  (the same periods as in sales-based settlement):

  01.01.2011 - 15.01.2011
  16.01.2011 - 30.01.2011
  31.01.2011 - 14.02.2011
  15.02.2011 - 01.03.2011
  02.03.2011 - 16.03.2011
  17.03.2011 - 31.03.2011
  ...

    > Period of exactly 15 days are calculated.

- If this report is not!!! in the system the following cashflow periods
  would be calculated:
  01.01.2011 - 15.01.2011
  16.01.2011 - 31.01.2011
  01.02.2011 - 15.02.2011
  16.02.2011 - 28.02.2011
  01.03.2011 - 15.03.2011
  16.03.2011 - 31.03.2011
  ...

  For the calculation of the periods of the sales-based settlement this
  report doesn't have any consequence.

Thanks for the Reply!

My requirement is in the Sales Based Reporting Rule Tab, when i am creating a reporting rule and Sales rule and giving the Frequency of 15 Days same as maintained in Posting Paraments tab in Frequency. For MMG the calculation from to is comming the way i want i.e.

01.01.2011 - 15.01.2011

  16.01.2011 - 31.01.2011

  01.02.2011 - 15.02.2011

  16.02.2011 - 28.02.2011 , the requirement here is the same Calcluation Dates are required in the Sales reports. The reason is the data of Sales are comming from the third party system where in it is defined as per the above dates. When i am maintaing Frequency for Reporting Rule for 15 Days i am not able to get the above dates for Sales reported.
