Deploying JavaEE Enterprise Application Type of DC

Hello SCN Users,

I am trying to deploy an JavaEE Enterprise Application type DC using NWDS 7.3 ver.

The following was done:

I created Portal Content Type DC, an Abstract Portal Component. Build was successful. Check-in & Activation was also successful.

I created an JavaEE Enterprise Application Type DC and was trying wrap the EP app by adding the 'module to deploy' as I did earlier in 7.0 ver.

In NWDS 7.3 ver, this option isn't available.

Any inputs on how to go ahead in deploying ?

Hi Jay,

Once you have built a successful EAR project you will find and EAR file inside it's folder. Switch to "Deployment" view in your NWDS, click "Import" in deployment view, and find your EAR archive in the workspace.

if you are using the Portal content DC, you should be able to export the project as enterprise app EAR file and deploy..

What is the need to wrap it inside JavaEE here?
