How to control ECC PR document type from SRM?

Hello All,

Need your input on how to control ECC PR document type from SRM. We are in classic scenario and the requirement is to create a framework req. in ECC for limit shopping carts. Currently, we have ECPO maintained for the attribute “Document Type in R/3” in PPOMA. This ensures that for all shopping carts, the backend PR  document type is always NB.

Can I use one of the following BAdIs?

BBP_TARGET_OBJTYPE

BBP_TARGET_OBJECTS

We are in SRM 7.02 with ECC 6.05 Classic Scenario
