Detailed info about our problem: we have done all setting in web dynpro console and J2EE engine side.

we have also done settings for netweaver developer studio writing our IP and port number.(IP: 192.168.10.89 and port: 3601)

But we can not connect developer studio and portal. we suspect that the problem is about j2ee engine or web dynpro console.

Is there any monitoring point provide us to see the system is active or not? by the way, do you know any web resource can provide

information displaying step by step configuration for web dynpro for java?

Thanks for your helps,

Hi Ahmet,

You can check with the mmc.exe (SAP management Console) file which will be there in <b>C:\WINDOWS\system32</b> folder of machine where you would have installed the server. This is the monitoring console where you can check whether the server you are connected to is working or not.

Also from the <b>NWDS</b> (NetWeaver Developer Studio) you can check the status of the server. Just go to the <b>Window -> Show View</b>. There just click on the <b>SAP AS Java Cluster View.</b>

Here you will get the server details you are connected to. If it shows the status in the green colour then that signifies that your server is connected and you can work on it. Else just check whether the server is working or not.

Please check with the IP address you are providing for the SAP Web Application server. [NOTE: You can also provide the System name instead of IP, or just set localhost if the server is installed in your local machine].

I hope this would help you. In case of any other issue, feel free to revert back.

Regards

Pravesh
