Hi Experts,
I have got a requirement to implement Service Desk and Charm in Solution manager 7.1.
I would like to know that above 2 tasks are completely basis issues or we need to involve some Techno functional guys as well.
Also please give me some pointers as to where I should begin with for initiating above 2 tasks.

Both tasks are completely based on BASIS part only.
You can get complete idea about both CHARM and Servicedesk using the below link.
The config guides in setting-up CHARM in SOLMAN 7.1 can be found in the Service Marketplace: http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman-> SAP Solution Manager 7.1 -> Change Control Management - Select CHARM

Configuration of these modules should be done by someone with at least some functional skills on the subjects. Collaboration with Basis team will be required.
