A Field in dyanamic selection of CJI3 to be made a mandatory input

Hi,

How to make a Field in dyanamic selection of CJI3 to be made a mandatory input?

For ex: In Dyanamic selection there is a folder by name "Master Data Definition" in that we have a field "No. of Person Responsible" so I want to make that field as a mandatory input along with Project.

Kindly tell me how to do that.

Hi,

Just a suggestion. Instead of making the field mandatory why don't you create and save a variant mentioning the list of "No. of person responsible"?

This won't serve the purpose because we have so many no. of person responsible & wud like to execute it for different random combinations so please suggest how to make it a mandatory Input.

Hi,

    In that case, use the functionality of Screen & transaction variant (SHD0). Using it make the respective field as mandatory option.

I dont want to create any Z transaction.

Can I do it in standard itself?

Read more on screen variants functionality. Unlike Z-developments they would require some functional expertise only. They are not Z-developments .

We make screen variants and assign transaction variants to them.
