Hi,

Does ora<sid> have the permissions to the /oracle/SID/sapbackup directory?. Is this a symolic link /oracle/SID/112_64/sapbackup?

Pls refer to sap note 113747 and verify the roles of the ora<sid> and <sid>adm users

regards,

Please fix brbackup authorizations using this note:

Note 113747 - Owners and authorizations for BR*Tools

(4)

brarchive, brbackup, and brconnect belong to ora<sid> and have authorization 4774:

-rwsrwxr--   ora<sid>   sapsys   ...

Hi,

Please check whether the link  /oracle/SID/112_64/sapbackup  exists. If yes, ensure that it is pointing to  /oracle/SID/sapbackup

Secondly, give 755 access to /oracle/SID/sapbackup and folder owner will be orasid and group will be dba.

I have attached the screenshot for your reference. Give the necessary permissions and check it whether it works.

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal

Hi,

To perform a quick test, just ensure '/oracle/SID/112_64/sapbackup and /oracle/SID/sapbackup' owned by oraSID and with the authorization 755.

also, ensure brbackup mode in /sapmnt/SID/exe is 4775.

Rerun the backup after changed and see how it goes.

Cheers,

Nicholas Chang
