WM error-“ Mixed Operation not possible in the storage type xxx”

Hi Team,

my client is facing problem with following error -“ Mixed Operation not possible in the storage type xxx”

scanner  impossible to create TO following message (mixed operaton unauthorized storage type xxx) while delivery has a single batch number and we had several bays available!
we asked for screen shots but user does not get screen shots because it is the scan made ​​by the operator from the VMU(RF devices).

kindly advise what is the exact problem in this issue.

I have checked the storage type control for strategies. found Mixed storage check mark not found.will it be the reason for it ? i have checked in my system but i am not sure whether this will be the reason...

Can you get the error message number?

I do not even find this message in SAPs message table T100.

does the message really say operation or does it say storage?

Hi Jurgen,

Error message is "Mixed Operation not possible in the storage type xxx”.

So I have decided to check Mixed storage check mark in storage type control..

Hi Mark,

If the material is having different batches, then you should allow the mixed storage (= X) for the respective storage type otherwise you will get this error.
