Cannot startsap after a failed attempt

Output of Stopsap:

There are still active users connected to the database.

On order to shutdown the database with stopdb you first have to stop all

database applications. This includes MCOD instances and database utilities.

/usr/sap/Z7A/SYS/exe/run/stopj2eedb: Terminating with error code 3

Tried killing task in dbmcli:


sapnwjava731:z7aadm 43> dbmcli -d Z7B -u control,ssmssm12

dbmcli on Z7B>show active

make sure that you use the script from SAP note 1148232.

Hi Adam, I had to fix this issue by reverting the system back to its original 'clean' state using a snapshot & have not seen it since. But I have downloaded the new stop db scripts & placed them in the kernel folder as specified in the SAP note so that this does not occur again. Thanks for the help !
