CM01- Capacity Requirement Error

Hi all,

I am using a workcenter in a project. In the workcenter I have formula SAP008 and Distribution key SAP020. When I run CM01 report, I am not getting the capacity requirement distributed. Its showing the overall capacity on the current date.

Can someone help me please.

Hi Anjali,

Please check if different distribution key is entered in activity.

Even check the costing tab wherein activity type as machine and labour are which formula that is concern to project/network as it should be sap004 for both entry.

Hi Sanjeev,

The formula in costing tab should be SAP008, not SAP004.SAP004 is for scheduling whereas SAP008 is for capacity and cost I have that correctly entered in my workcenter.

Capacity will be distributed based on schedule dates. Also check what is the scheduling formula you have used in scheduling tab of work center. It should be SAP004 for internally processed activities.

Hi Mahendra,

Scheduling formula is SAP004. Everything looks ok to me, but the problem is entire requirements is generated on the current date. I checked notes as well but cudnt find any.

Please check if work center has flag for 'finite scheduling'.
