Getting False emails for CIF Inbound queue blockage in ECC

Hi,

I am getting CIF queue blockage email as : "

 

qRFC monitoring has determined that user AP1XXXX has initiated

a data transfer to target system EP1XXXXX via inbound queue

CFIP0000732753. This transfer resulted in an application error."

However when I check inbound and oubound queues in ECC, i cannot find any queue stuck in errored state.

What could be cause of such false alerts.

Hi Alok,

It sounds like you might be getting temporary locking of queues at the time report /SAPAPO/RCIFINQUEUECHECK is being run.  One of the up to 30 retries probably sent the queue successfully when the locking stopped.  You should be able to find the initial error in the application log.  That may give you a hint.  Have you entered values in the dfferent "allowed age" fields under General Settings in the report?

Note 1491205 -  "CIF QRFC ALERT: Customize alerts for RETRY queues" adds additional configuration fields to the queue check report.

Another cause may be differences in the system time between SCM and ECC or system time zone differences.  This issue is described in Note 1357186 - "QRFC-Alert reports incorrect errors".
