Calculation profile in RBATP - Allowed delays and its impact while giving the confirmation

Former Member

Hi All,

We are using Calculation profile in RBATP, I have maintained Allowed delays of let say 5 days, except this rest everything is blank in calculation profile.

Now my question is, this allowed delay will be calculated on which date ? RDD. MAD or SLD ( delivery date)

And what will be horizon of considering the stock, receipt and requirement elements while giving the confirmation for SO using only allowed delay?

Regards,

Vinay

HI Vinay,

The F1 Help explains the duration exactly:

-------------

Allowed Delayed Confirmation in Days

Determines the number of days by which the confirmed material availability
date is permitted to differ from the determined material availability date for a
delayed confirmation to be permissible.

---------------

-> Based on calculated MAD !

And what will be horizon of considering the stock, receipt and requirement elements while giving the confirmation for SO using only allowed delay?

A horizone will not be used...just the "ATP logic" or the according to the check method (e.g. if you have PAL activated)..if the requirement can be confirmed for the determined MBDAT + 5 days. The system can use any suitable receipt element...

hope this helps.

best regards,

Michael
