IDOC from a non SAP system to an SAP system

Hello

I wander how it would be possible to send IDOC from a non SAP system to an SAP system. As far as I know IDOC is only SAP-SAP communication

Hi Jan,

IDOC is the main method for send information from non-SAP to SAP systems.  Think of it much like the old EDI message: once the data corresponded to the correct format, it could be pulled into the target system.

For your scenario of sending information to SAP, select the correct IDOC type, complete the relevant fields (perhaps using LSMW) and send the data.
