Additional FIELDS on the Batch Details

Hello QM Guru -

Please advise if its possible to create an extra/additional/customs fields on the batch details (MSC2N/MSC3N) like for "long text" to add some comments during batch maintenance. I tried to use the "long text" under the second tab but I believed this is for the language key. I'm thinking if this could be done by creating a new CLASS and assign it to the batch.

You can utilize short text field in Basic Data 2 view of batch master for this. I think this should work. Language key matters for language in which you can enter texts for print the document.

Hi Anand -

That field doesnt go thru as expected. I tried many times but this is just an indicator for the language key. If you go through the logs of the changes - it indicates the language key entry.
