Stock type is not picking automatically.

Hello Team ,

When I create the Transfer order , system is not picking the stock type automatically for secondary storage types and Storage bins even stock is available . Its picking automatically if the stock is available in primary stock type and bin .

anybody know what is going wrong  ??

Hi Pavan,

The system will pick the stock from secondary storage type only when there is no stock available/fails to get the stock from primary storage type defined in the search table. The system will give the priority based on the sequence 1,2,3 ..etc defined in the table control.

It seems the search strategy is not defined properly. Please check the search strategy for Storage type defined under

SPRO----Logistic execution - Warehoues management - Strategy

and please share the detail with example and screen so that we can provide solution.
