We have SAP NW 7.31 system on ORACLE 11.2.0.3.0 (Windows)
and during the installation of BI-CONT 7.46 in stage IMPORT_PROPER of installation process is frozen. In SM50 it looks
11 BGD 2684 On Hold RFC Yes | 974 SAPLSTPA 000 DDIC |
and in detail
Waiting for | Function / Conversation ID | since |
Gateway BPC10.world.su | CMRCV / 26175095 / SYNC_CPIC | 23:37:01 |
SMGW issues log, which I attached as a file to the message. In what could be the problem? Why "freeze" setting?
Thank you all! The problem was solved.
solution is to install two patches to the base ORACLE, with preliminary setback to the state "before patching",
p14543814_112030_MSWINx86
p14828076_112030_MSWINx86
After installing the patch ORACLE SAP was produced upgraded to SP6.
After restarting the system is working properly

Hi Michael,
1)Check whether tp is connected to DB or not from STMS check tranport tool.
2) check if any tablespace is close to being full, if yes extend it by few GB.
3) paste the logs of /trans/tmp directory.
Thanks,
Het

Think that transport logs would be very useful.
Please check them in STMS -> (F5)->Your System->Goto->tp System log

Hi,
Can you please check whether any tablespaces are full?
Please attached the work processes of the background process which is in ONHOLD to analyse further.

How do I determine whether or not enough tablespace oracle? Where to view messages or data that the Oracle of something missing?
I attached the data for the process (double click on the process, which has been frozen). This is what you asked for, or need any information? If so, tell me where they get here?
Please go to DB02 -> Tablespaces -> overview -> See what is the space utilization.
Secondly, please attach the file of the background work process that is in on hold state . The file will be available in /usr/sap/SID/DV*/work
You can check the name of the file with the work processes number. If you are unable to get it, please attach the screenshot SM50 . I will tell you the name of the file.
Thanks and Regards,
Vima
