Hi Sumit,

  • First enable the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0
  • Delete the SAP* from sql command, so that the system will create the SAP* user with password pass.

Thanks

  Dear Kishore,

That's fine, the same I told in interview, interview asked apart from this any other method......
I think, we can do client copy from DB level.

Thanks

Hi Sumit,

If i face the same question, same answer i will give.

  • As per standard documentation i could not find any client copy in DB level. it might be possible just copying the tables but sure it might gives several problems later.

  • if we do the client copy in DB level, how we can choose the Profile as SAP_CUST, not only this i have many questions to ask....

  • And there is no single possibility also like SAP* gets failed. (As we already know that SAP* will get created automatically)

Thanks

It definitely should not be done at the DB level. I believe you can use tp/r3trans tools to do it.

Hi Sumit,

You can do client copy from the OS level using R3trans export/import functions.
