Hello,
i have two Bidders, let say 1 and 2.
For Bidder 1, two Contact Persons (1A and 1B) can be selected during Bid Invitation creation by Purchaser.
For Bidder 2, only Contact Person 2A exists.
When Bid Invitation, let say RFx1, is created (a restricted RFx) with Bidders 1 and 2 selected, and for each Bidder, respectively Contact Person 1A and 2A, after RFx1 publication, Contact Person 1B has also in his POWL result the published RFx1 (but, he cannot be in EDIT mode for this Bid Invitation, which means he cannot create a Bid Response for this RFx).
Is this the SRM standard design ?
Do all Bidder's Contact Persons can have access to all restricted Bid Invitation published for concerned Bidder whatever the Contact Person invitated ?
Thank you.
Regards.
Laurent.
Hello,
correct behavior is as below:
Case 1:
Purchaser creates RFx and invites "Bidder1" from "Company A"
and "Bidder3" from "Company B".
There are two more bidders who were not invited:
"Bidder2" belongs to "Company A".
"Bidder4" belongs to "Company B".
In this case "Bidder2" and "Bidder4" will be able to display the bid
inviation but will not be able to create a response for it.
If you open the invitation and you see a "Register" button at the
top of the page you should implement note 1679121 to correct it.
This note will remove the button.
A bid invitation from the same company is visible to the other users
in the same company.
Case 2:
Purchaser creates RFx and invites "Bidder1" and "Bidder2" from "Company A".
There are two more bidders who were not invited:
"Bidder3" and "Bidder4" belong to "Company A".
In this case "Bidder3" and "Bidder4" will not see the bid invitation.
Regards.
Laurent.
