ECC 6.0 installation guide

i was wondering if anyone could provide me the installation guide for ECC 6.0.

would appreciate it if anyone could provide me with any kind info abt ECC 6.0.

Hi,

If you have user id and password to OSS

1.service.sap.com/instguides

2.Browse through mySAP bussiness suite ->mySAP ERP -> mySAP ERP 2005

--> Installation

select the type of DB you are using and just download.

Are you installing on your PC ? or for any Client??

thanx for the reply....im installing it on my PC....unfortunately i do not have access to the OSS notes....is there anyway i can get hold of the guides...or any other source....

Hi Shilpa,

To install the software and and get the guides, you need a license. The license gives you access to both - the software and access to the SAP Service Marketplace where all the detailed documentation is and the support process. I think you know know where I'm going...

I know exactly where ur goin . I know its not possible without the license.

I dont want the original installation guide...but was wonderin if i can get some material....where i can read about ECC 6.0...i've tried numerous links but all of em lead to the marketplace....... there must be some kind of readin stuff about ECC 6.0....u know..the laymans version of it..........hope im making sense....thanx anyway....

Hi shilpa,

The 200+ page installation guide and the planning guides are all on the Service Marketplace. The only mySAP ERP 2005 documentation on www.sap.com is here but it is not very technical (http://www.sap.com/solutions/business-suite/erp/index.epx).

Also remember you need to have the SAP solution manager installed in order to be able to get an installation key to the installer to run.

Hi Shilpa,

Did u got the installation document ?

Else you can ping my friend <removed_by_moderator>, he is working on ECC 6.0 implementation, Hope he can guide you better.

i am getting error at import abap.

how to see listner please tell me the path

Hello,

You can check your listener status from command prompt

lsnrctl status --> to check status

lsnrctl start --> to start

lsnrctl stop --> stop

path /oracle/<SID>/<ORA_VERSION>/network/admin

(/oracle/C11/920_64/network/admin)

You are asking the same question again. and the answer is still get the guides from SAPNet at service.sap.com/instguides. There is no short cut.

I am Looking for ECC6.0 Installation guide. If you have it pl. send it to my <removed_by_moderator> I don't have access of sap market place. I am waiting for User ID and Password. I already send mail regarding this <removed_by_moderator> . as per you said.

no need for any guides its very easy while installing on your own PC ,all these things r needed only when you r installing on a server,for that you need the software and solution manager key ,and check resources on your PC,if you can get me on my messenger i can help you its just a matter of an hour,or you can get mr.rams at <removed_by_moderator> ,dont waste your time in searching for big documents
