Dear all, I have just setup a new SAP Distribution Server following the documentation in "Sap Setup Guide.pdf".
The server is patched with the last patch available:
I have then created the first new package with only the components that I need for the distribution of the sapgui.
The name of this package is "package1_patch_0" meaning that is a package with the base product, SAP GUI 730 compilation 1, patch 0.
I know there are already 2 patches out.
So my question is:
Is it possible to create 2 other packages, "package1_patch_1" and "package1_patch_2" and have all the packages on the installation server in order to choose, via logon script, which one to use?
Could you please give me your feedback?
