Hi,
Can anyone tell me is there any way to know the rejection reasons.
Say for example if in a particular day or week if 100 inspections are done and recorded out of which 20 are rejected, can we know for what reason(s) are those 20 inspections are rejected.
Say in a garment industry a fabric may be rejected for various reasons at various time of inspections. Can we know all those various reasons for rejection in SAP, so that it becomes easy to know it is for this reason(s)(ie., break-up of rejection reason's) a fabric has been rejected.
Thanks

If you have already done defect recordings for said lots then you can use T code MCXX for getting defects to drilldown upto the reason( description of defect)

Alternatively you can try QM15, MCVX, QM10. Combination of QM10 and QM15 can be a better report. Pr-requisite is, you have recorded defects in QA32 against inspection lot.

Sure. That is what defect recordings are used for. You can use catalogs of codes to capture the common causes for rejections. The user than selects the appropriate code or codes.
These can than be reviewed and reported on through your own reports or via the QIMS.
