ALV cell background color for read only field

Hello Experts,

I'm using ALV in my project.

I need to set cell background to some of the cells.

I set all the necessary fields in my context (wdui_table_cell_design) and I’m using the ‘set_cell_design_fieldname’ method for the column.

If the column type is textview no matter which cell design I select the background doesn't change.

If the column type is input field and editable the background changes.

But what if I need a readonly cell editor which has background color?

What am I missing?

Hi,

Solved it on my own

It seems that for different UI elements you need to set different color codes.

'Red' for input field is not 'Red' for textview...
