Hi Rao,

For end user training, you have to decide on the scenario for which implementation is done. You have to talk to the process people who has done the system design and then streamline the strings which will be used by repective users.

Generally user is told on topics like what to enter in which screen and what does a particular screen do.

Then you have too decide how this can be done.

There are some standard software available which can be used to depict the user steps in pictorial way

or you can used Microsoft PPT where you can put screen shots as well as some comments for user.

Even Word can be used for depict business procedure steps.

End User Training is the Process document / manual. With help of this document, the end user can practice & learn to operate SAP transaction. Normally this document is attached with screen shot & we should try to capture all the screen sequentially, whether it may appear relevant or not to us. We sholud make the document such that even a layman can operate refering to the manual.

End User Training material will vary from client to client, depending on scenarios. Incase if we are providing a standard scenarion, the business process document in help.sap.com can be provided from SAP Best practice.

Hi,

The enduser should be informed about the domain knowledge for example - what is a sale order and its integration with PP/MM/FI.Then user manual has to be prepared with screen shot with the menu path in details like T-code VA01 (create sale order),Maintain data such as sales org.,Dist. channel, division, with ref to contract/Quation,inserting material, qty. etc. till the completion of the entire process so that it will help the enduser to do transaction without any mistake. This will also reduce the Help desk work after implementation of SAP.

Hi,

For the purpose of preparing enduser manuals the functional guys understand the requirements of the endusers as to who will be doing what transactions and accordingly the manuals are prepared and have them trained. Like if an enduser is going work on sales cycle then those corresponding activities are identified and someone who works on master data maintenance for the relevant information is prepared as to how that particular is to be carried out. The Business Process Master Lists are used for this purpose taken from the standard ASAP installation where it identifies the work by T.code as how what to enter, how to enter and transact the information.

Now the enduser would have information with regards to his working routine. These manuals are developed using PPT's or some software like MS visio or even a word.

Hope it helps. Please reward if useful.

Thanks & Regards
