Office integration (Excel) not working for a SAP R/3 Report

Hi gurus,

One of our users has reported us a blank space in a session window.

It happens when he is opening a report (FI-Public Sector) with the option --> Office Integration --> Microsoft Excel activated, and the white space shows up instead of the excel integrated, therefor he cannot perform any action, like export, graphic, so on...

The user told us he has recently upgraded the PC to Windows 7.

The user specs are:

SAP R/3 ECC 6.0

Sap Logon 720

Windows 7

Microsoft Office 2007

Hello Alfredo,

prabably some Excel configurations were lost. Refer to SAP Note 1094693 - Blank/Empty Excel spreadsheet using Office 2007 and ALV and apply latest SAP GUI patch available on SAP Marketplace on the user's PC

Hye,

I also faced the same problem.

I already update the patch 7.20 and still get blank when print the report.

I am using microsoft office excel 2013.

Do have any solution on this matter?

Hi Mohd

Could pl check the PAM I thing MS Office 2013 & all office application 64 bit not support by SAP at this moment. kindly check the same options in Office 2010 32 bit version and apply the service pack of SAP front end

Hi Gurus,

First of all thank you for answering.

The user in an attemp to solve the problem has changed office to the 2003 version, but the problem persisted.

Macro security is at low and access to VBA projects is allowed.

You can see the report in this screenshot, office integration deactivated.

You can see now the error when activating office integration.

Could you update the SAPGUI 7.20 patch to latest one and check the results.

Hi Alfredo,

Upgrading SAP Frontend GUI patch will not hamper any business transaction. You may test it first and then implement it. Most of the integration issues are resolved with a GUI patch upgrade.
