Hi Everyone,

we have EP 7.3 configured with Web Dispatcher. can somebody tell me how do we check which application server the web dispatcher actually directs to?

we are working on some issue for which we need to find this out as we have more than 12 application servers in our production Portal landscape

thanks for your help in advance

Use the Web Administration Interface of the Web Dispatcher. See the attached link for details.

In SAP NetWeaver Administrator 7.3 you can display real-time session statistics in Availability and Performance -> Resource Monitoring -> Session Management.

You can get a better non real-time overview by going to Availability and Performance -> Resource Monitoring -> History Reports and defining a new report for the monitor Kernel/Session Manager/Logged-In Users Count. Once defined you can see users per node or per instance.

Hello

Not sure whether you can find it out from the web-dispatcher side but there used to be a possibility to find the login sessions using the Visual Admin tool.

Since you have EP 7.3 then there must be no Visual Admin available.

In Visual Admin - Services - Security Provider - Login Sessions.

Fore newer releases there must be some possibility to check it from the NWA.

Honestly never tried a 7.3 system

Cheers
