do u have any role naming convention followed in ur company specifically?

Role Naming Convention

EX: To create the role for Financial Analyst of US business process.

Z ---> Custom Role

00 ---> Country code

F --> Finance

A --> Analyst

S ---> Senior

J ---> Junior

001 --> role count

The naming convention is for easing the process of identifying the roles and to extract the information efficiently. There are many ways of doing so., but the crux is to identify which convention fits ur org...

The one which promised to be a good one.

is Z<u>1</u>./:_(descrpition of Role)_<u>XXXX</u>

1--> you can use this to emphasize the module this role belongs tooo say MM (M),FI/CO(F), SD(S) HR(P)..

the descprition of what the role exactly does i.e. its task or activity...

Then XXXX is to specify whether its a master role (0000) or derived role (mention the plant comnpany code etc which control the access for this derived role..

But once again there is no single fit for all convention, so see how the roles in ur organization are divided and try to create a naming convention which fits best for ur organization
