Solution 7.1 manager kernel update

Dear Experts,

         When i was trying to download the stacks, ABAP and JAVA was there. Which one i have to download and update? My platform is Windows 2008 + MSSQL.How can i check the current stack version of my solution manager?

Hi,

If you want to update the kernel alone, please go to service.sap.com/swdc -> support packages and patches -> A to Z Index -> select K -> select SAP Kernel 64 bit -> 720 Kernel -> select your DB ->check and download the latest kernel available. 

Download both Dependent and DB independent files.

Take a backup of the exe folders and try to update  the kernel.

Hi,

You have to update both ABAP and Java. You can check version of your solution manager by checking version of ST in System- Status.
