Does change in any object(comm channel) on PI updates its transports assigned?

Hi,

     My question could be a simple one. If a object on PI (ESR/IB) say a communication channel was assigned to a transport request and now a new change has been executed, does this changes is updated with its assigned transport request, so that when import to target system we could have the latest one? Or we have to re-assign to its present transport or create a new transport?

Create a new transport.
