TADM70 - Is it required to gone through training before appearing for certification in India

I have a query regarding OS-DB Migration Certification ( TADM 70 ) . Its as below :

Is it compulsary in India to appear for TADM70 SAP training ( OS-DB Migration ) before writing the certification ?

I concur with Vimal. You might want to check with SAP India Education directly, but that is my understanding. You could take the exam in Australia, England, United States or most of Europe just by paying the fee, so if travel is an option, you might want to consider that if you think you're ready to take the exam even though you haven't taken the class.

Hi,

    Yes . It is mandatory to attend the training to take up the exam in India.  Recently few of my friends requested for SAP OS DB Migration Exam in SAP TECH ED 2012  and SAP has replied that without any training from SAP, it is not possible to take up the exam in INDIA.

That is one of the reason, I studied and cleared the exam in UAE.
