Follow the below for installing SAP gui in MAC.
1 : Unzip the SAP GUI for Mac Folder and select the installable file for Mac. Select the file under PRES2 > GUI > Java and then the jar file for Mac
2 : Follow through the wizard and select the file location.
3: Launch the SAP GUI and click on New to create a new entry for the SAP server.
4 :Make the entry as follows. Give a description and click on the Advanced Tab and check mark the “Expert Mode” to open up the grayed out box and enter the string as shown below.

conn=/H/ecc02.webhop.net/S/3200
where ecc02.webhop.net is the name or IP Address of the SAP Server and XX in 32XX signifies the System Number.
5.Now you can log into sap gui.

how did You configure new connection in Logon in OS X ?? Did You use 'expert mode' or file with configured connections ??
