I need to map SAP R/3 standard idoc DEBMAS06 to CRM 5.0 standard idocs BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M01 and BUPA_INBOUND_REL_SAVE_M01 in order to transfer business partners from R/3 4.7 to CRM 5.0.
Are there standards maps available for doing this? If not where can I find documentation to help determine the mapping?
Hi Leo,
this is not my area but maybe the SAP<b> FS-BP</b> note :-
<b>#940207 BP_CIF: Delivery Customizing of CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU</b>
may help.
If not then you might try creating a thread, for the latest issue, in the SDN forum
<i><b>Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - General & Framework</b></i>
Alternatively, if you wish, I can move this thread to the above mentioned CRM forum.

Thank you all for your helpful inputs. I have been able to solve numerous problems involving the configuration of CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU. Some of the required functions were either out of sequence, missing or not activated. Since documentation is weak in this area, I ended up tracing thru the ABAP proxy code to determine exactly what was taking place. Testing the proxy interface with payload within CRM made this possible to troubleshoot. Looks like this solution will work. Thanks again.

Hi Leo,
the problem you have encountered appears to be related to the transfer of Business Partners rather than XI related. I don't have any knowledge of this area but hopefully the SAP note :-
<b>#871590 BP_AID: Replacing the BPID001 table</b>
addresses this issue.

Hi Kenny,
In our system OSS note 871590 has basicallly been applied, we are at Support package SAP_ABA, SAPKA70010. However the entry in table CRMC_BUT_CAL_FU for function module ABA_FSBP_MAP_IDTYPE_INBOUND had not been made and the generated mapping from report FSBP_MAINTAIN_IDTYPE_MAPPING had not been saved. With that completed, it cleared up the ID number categories problem.
However, I now have a different problem that I need to investigate. I'm now getting this error:
ABABusinessPartnerFault
Proxy Klasse (generiert)
Detailed Information
Fehler bei XI Eingangsverarbeitung der GP-Nachricht. Zeit: 05.03.2007 17:40:55 002(ABABPXI)
Which translates to :
Error during XI entrance processing of the GP message. Time: 05.03.2007 17:40:55 002(ABABPXI).
Help on this will be rewarded.
Thanks,
Leo

Kenny,
Here's an update on where I am. I've used SAP Note 806289 to configure the interface for transfer of Customer Master data from SAP 4.7 to CRM 5.0 and I'm have been able to send a customer from R/3 to XI. I do get an ABAP application error when the message is processed in CRM. This is what I see:
ABABusinessPartnerFault
Proxy Klasse (generiert)
Detailed Information
Mapping for ID number categories is inconsistent or incomplete 044(FKBPIDT).
Looks like a mapping error but there's no much of a clue here to work with. Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Leo
