Hi All,

I have a couple of questions on HANA Security.

1) Security Admin A assigned a role X to an end user and i as a Security Admin B am trying to revoke the role and i am not able to do so. Please help

2) I am trying to create a custom role and trying to assign SQL privileges _SYS_BI and _SYS_BIC and am not able to assign it, as soon as i add it i am not able to grant anything to these privileges and when i save the role these two privileges disappear.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Abhilash,

for the first question: that's currently not possible, yet.

There are some developments concerning role creation and provisioning coming up that will allow exactly this (at least as far as I understood it...).

for the second question: I can't reproduce this. With a user that got ROLE/USER ADMIN privilege I can easily grant SELECT on the _SYS_BI and _SYS_BIC schemas to a user or a role.
