Hi,

   Please go D:\oracle\EH5\sapbackup\ and check whether  backEH5.log is available.

If yes, please attach that file.

Are you trying to restore the same DB in which backup was performed ???

As well as please attach the initSID.sap file which is available inside the backup folder

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal

Hi Srinivas,

You need to change the path to the external drive in the backup log file.

Hi,

  You need to maintain few parameters in initSID.sap file available in oracle_home/dbs for linux or oracle_home/database for windows.

1.backup_dev_type = tape => change to disk

2.backup_root_dir = /oracle/SID/sapbackup => specify the location of the backup

3.stage_root_dir = /oracle/SIDD/sapbackup  => Specify the location of the backup

Please check and provide your feedback

THanks and Regards,

Vimal
