Install ERECRUIT on NW7.3 (LMDB)

Hi experts.

I just wanted to install Erecruit on a new installed Netweaver 7.3 with this components:

SAP_BASIS 731. lvl 5

SAP_ABA 731, lvl 5

PI_BASIS 731, lvl 5

ST-PI 2008_1_710. lvl 7

SAP_BW 731, lvl 5

I've worked with a Solman 7.0 EHP1 and now i've installed the new 7.1 Solman and configured it.

It looks good so far.

I checked the Note 1752914 and choose in the LMDB for the new System:

EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP EHP3 for SAP NETWEAVER 7.0

SAP ERP 6.0

So i added manually the EHP6 for SAP ERP6.0 (marked ERECRUIT 606 as installed)

and SAP ERP6.0 (marked ERECRUIT 600 as installed).

Here an example:

When i try to make a new "Maintenance Transaction" i find the system in "SAP EHP3 for SAP Netweaver".

Now i get the message "Landscape Verification .. was not successfull". That should be okay (regarding to the note).

After calculating i get the warning:

"EHP Component ERECRUIT 606 without suitable Technical Usage!"

Where is my mistake?

Hi,

As per my understanding, the ERECRUIT is not yet installed on the system.

Once you select the ERECRUIT as installed, the SolMan tries to search if the software component is actually installed in the system. Its not able to find the same, hence the error.

You could try removing the ERECRUIT usage as selected and then try to use the Enhancement Package installation option to install the ERECRUIT component for the Product Version: EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0. If you use the Product Version SAP EHP3 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0, then the ERECRUIT usage type is not available.

thanks for your help.

Yes, it is not installed yet. I removed the selection of erecruit but the system is still listed under "EHP 3 FOR NETWEAVER 7.0" and not under "SAP ERP 6.0" when i creat a new Maintenance Transaction.

Hi,

Please create the logical component for system using the Product version SAP ERP 6.0. Then use this logical component for creation of the MOPZ transaction.

thanks - now i can choose the system as ERP 6.0. Here are my settings:

and in smsy:

At point 2.4 in "Maintanance Optimizer" i get the warning:

The Installation/Upgrade Package for Add-on FI-CA rel. 600 is not available.

All i want is the xml for erecruit.. Thats not so easy.

The problem is solved.

I deleted the system from the lmdb and created it manually with ERecruiting Instance (see Note 1766111):

Nothing marked else.

Then "assign to a product system" and created the linked productsystem.

Now at the top of the navigation tree and select "advanced -> resynchronize technical system from sld".

We are having a requirement to upgrade  NW 7.3 EHP1 System with E- Recruit component.

My target System Support pack release is as Below.

SAP_BASIS 731

SAP_ABA 731

PI_BASIS 731

ST-PI 2008_1_710

SAP_BW 731

Can you please tell me steps how to generate the Stack XML file for Erec Component in MOPZ.

Because i cant find any Erec component when generating Stack Xml file in Mopz for above release.

Still we are facing the same Error.

Hi Please find the component list required to set Erecruit as a standalone on NW7.31

I just finished this installation yesterday.
