RFx , RFi/RFQ

Hello,

I have a requirement to implement RFx scenario in SRM 7.0 EhP2.

First an RFi (request for information) should initiate the process and then based on the selected supplier a second step should follow with and RFQ.

Is this scenario available in standard or should I implement PPS using PQQ(pre qualification questionnaire).

Hi ,

In SRM RFI stage is not supported,However some workaround which are available in SRM are :

1. you can create an RFX and add Question in RFX Information tab and sent it to supplier (leaving blank the Items fields) , Once you receive supplier Response you can create follow on RFx , which will close the existing RFx and create a new RFx with reference to Previous RFx.

Note: When we create Follow on RFx it doesnt give us option to qualify only certain selected supplier from one round of  to another round of RFX. All the details are copied to another RFx. Once New RFx is created you need to delete the existing supplier manually,

2. From EHP1 of SAP SRM 7.0 Business Function SRM_Sourcing_1 is avaialble . which Provide certain fucntionality of PPS like: Tender Fee Processing,Earnest Money Deposit, two envelope RFx,Multi Party verification process.

But this function doesnt provide the PQQ functionality of PPS in SAP SRM . You need to Implement PPS for PQQ functionality.
