About Smartforms and watermarks

Hi, i'm trying to put a watermark in a smartform until here i have no problem, but all starts when there's any variable over the watermark then u can't see the picture, but that change if the variable if is a static text, then u can se both, anybody knows why or how can i solve that?

hi Luis,

as i understood you want to print a image in the back ground of the data you r printing. if iam not wrong... fallow this way.. i did it this way.

in the PAGE1--> i have created a Graphic window, then alligned it same location of the main window(because data printing starts from there.)

then in the Main window-->as usual i have inserted the table. its working fine with both static and dynamic text.

in you r case.. the problem cluld be the color u have selected for the table line type...even though u haven't did it once check in the <b>double click on TABLE>TABLE tab>in Shading -->color BLACK and saturation 0%.</b>

Hi to everybody,

Sorry to be late, but I had a lot of work and I couldn't check all the things u said, finally naresh was right the saturation was the key, the problem is solved, thanks to both for the help.

Hi Luis,

write something more about your variable. Is it in MAIN Window,

is it internal table, ans so on.

By the way, can you see your watermark in Form Painter?

If not try it with: Settings->Tab: Form Painter->check 'Transparent window'.

Hi Again Peter, is in a main window where I have a table node, the literals are printing ok , respecting the picture of the watermark but when i write a reg from the Table it's like frist print a blank square over the wathermark and then print the conntent of the variable, i'm thinking about now, is there a possibilite to make a transparent cell? as I said before i think the problem comes with the dynamical data....

Hi Luis,

Try to change the definition of yout int. table in the SmartForm.

Start in 'Main Area':

1. Create table line (with right touch of mouse)

Tab: Output options Line Type: ITEM

2. To each column create Text (with right touch of mouse)

Tab 'General Attributes' Type: Text Element (NOT '<b>Dynamic Text</b>')

Under in the definition area: put your working area defined in 'Global settings'

f.e.: &wa_itab-fldate&

for output of data from your int. table for each column separately.

Hi Luis,

you do not mention in which stage you have this problem.

My experience with forms is, that in the preview you do not always

see everything, or not completly correct. Important:

always print, but not with 'LOCL' printer.

Hi Luis,

try this:

Double click in form tree on your page, where your watermark is (probably FIRST).

Choose tab 'Background Picture'.

(Suppossed: Name: YOUR_W-MARK Object: GRAPHICS and ID: BMAP)

Check '

Output Attributes

' -> Output Mode: Print preview and print

If it ´s not work, write next time in which release you are working.
