Solution manager upgrade tool for windows

Dear Experts,

         How to start the upgrade for solution manager 7.1, With notes i downloaded the SOLMANUP and kept it in a folder, But none of the commands is working like STARTUP.BAT.........and ididn't find any .exe file also for upgrade.Please advice.

Did you already check the Solution Manager 7.1 Upgrade guide in the SMP?

http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Components -> SAP Solution Manager -> Upgrade

What is the error you get on executing STARTUP.BAT?

Thanks for all the posts, Actually i didn't get the full .SAR file for SOLMANUP, that's y .BAT didn't work.

Hi,

startup.bat -> right click press the run as administartor.

after go to sdt\exe\ execute the DSUGUI.bat also right click -> run as adminstrator  this start the solmanup GUI.

but make sure your <SID>ADM account has admin access to run these bat files.

This also in the Upgrade guide, Please review.
