Block deletion activity when a milestone linked with a sales order

Hello,

A milestone is assigned to a billing schedule. I have interlinked my milestone with Sales Order.

When I want to delete the milestone in CJ20N, I have the message CN406 “You cannot delete: Milestone is assigned to billing schedule”

My milestone is linked under an activity of network, the problem is that I can delete the activity  ( and the milestone is deleted too).

How may I block the deletion of the activity of network?

Hi,

    As far as error message is concerned, first try to remove the billing dates in billing plan (va02) and save and delete the milestone. OR try to delete the billing line items and save and then delete the milestone.

For controlling deletion of activity, Gokul's reply is appropriate .

Hi,

try to control this using User Status. Set up a user status that prohibits anyone from deleting activities from a project.
