Java version for installing SAP ECC 6 on windows 2008 R2 64bit

Hello Everybody,

I  have Windows 2008 R2 on my lap. I want to install sap ecc 6.

I have Java 1.5, Oracle 10.2.0.4, Netbeans  5.5 can i install sap ecc 6 on my machine.?

Hi Shamil,

Yes, you can!! condition is your lappy must have sufficient hardware.

Check the installation guide for complete information.

BTW do you want to install IDES version of ECC or the complete package itself?

Hi Shamil,

You need to download JRE 6.0 or higher to get the SAP IDES installed. Hope you have the required DVDS available for installation.
