SAP PI-SAP PI Communication???

Hello Experts,

There is a client who has SAP ECC and SAP PI implemented at their end..They will trigger an IDOC from ECC Which will come to SAP PI and PI will conver it into a IDOC-XMl..These client is located in india..Now these client want to sent these idoc-xml to bank having SAP PI implemented at their end.

Bank has got DMZ nd MZ zone...So basically reuqest coming from client cannot come directly to SAP PI server which is located in MZ zone..

So there has to some intermediator in DMZ zone at bank who can pass on reuqest coming from client SAP PI to Bank SAP PI.

Is it possible that we can have 2 SAP PI box communicating with each other??if yes how can we achive these scenario??Which protocol and adapter to be use at both the ends and also wat component to be placed in DMZ zone??

Hi Vikas,

The SAP Web dispatcher can be place between the Internet and your SAP PI system (in DMZ). It will act as a entry point for HTTP(s) requests into your system.
