SUM Tool connection issue

Hi

I am using latest SUM tool on AIX. I am facing a problem where we have an idle connection TIMEOUT set by default. If I am connected to SUM tool and the TIMOUT ends my connection, I cannot log again. The connection does not get established; unlike when I exit, I can still login again. Did anyone have this issue before? Any fix?

Well, in my experience if you have called a XServer session from putty for example it should not timeout until the XServer session is finished .... So that is quite odd behaviour.

You could disable the timeout temporarely, I guess.

Hi

Set the parameter TMOUT=0 on the xserver session.

export TMOUT=0

setenv TMOUt 0

Hopefully it will work.
