Issue with SMD agent on windows XP- Solman 7.0 EHP1

We have successfully installed and registered multiple SMD agents

across various sites but one of the SMD agents is having issues while

monitoring.

The SMD agent 7.2 (32 bit) is installed on Windows XP and is visible on

the end user monitoring utility on SolMan (7.0 EHP1). However, some scripts are showing as disconnected.

Is this is a known bug with XP or any suggestions?

Could not find any docs as well.

HI,

This could be MIGHT be a  "standard" problem with SMDAgent. Please download latest version SAPOSCOL from /swdc and copy it to folders:

\usr\sap\<SID>\SMDA<instance number>\exe\

\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\uc\<os-ver>\

then restart SMD.

Hi Maria,

Yes it seems to be acting strange with windows XP but other agents seem to be running fine on Win 7. Touching SolMan is not possible at the moment.

Can you provide more details about your monitored/monitoring system and environment....

The Monitored environment is having SMD agent 7.2 win XP (32 bit) and monitoring system is SAP Solution Maganger 7.0 EHP1.
