TDMS Implementation

Hi,

We are planning to implement  standaloneTDMS in our landscape. Considering the business requirement and architecture challanges we wanted to verify few things before the actual decision is made for TDMS implementation.

1. Can TDMS perform client specific refresh instead of the entire system. As there are are different clients in the QA server and we do not want to refresh the entire system.

2. We are having network bandwidth limitations, so can there be an offline refresh, i.e. exporting the data to a file from Production Server and from there can we import the data to QA server.

Appreciate your thoughts on this.

Hi Ravish,

1. Yes, TDMS can perform client specific refresh instead of the entire system.

2. Yes, TDMS supports both RFC based and File based scenarios. So in case of bandwidth limitaitons,      you may use the file transfer scenario.
