Download & Install SAP XI

Hi All,

I am very new to SAP and would like to download and install SAP XI.

What are the installation component(Exact names as it appears on https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/swdc) should I download.

Step by step procedure for installation would be a great help.

if you need install you to buy it from SAP . we get has netwaever stack where you can select the corresponding components in our case you have to select XI .

Hi..

I have logged into the SAP download site and went through the following series of links. After reaching the last link I could see at least 85-90 downloadable components.

SAP Software Distribution Center --> Download -->Installations and Upgrades >Entry by Application Group>SAP NetWeaver>SAP NETWEAVER>SAP NETWEAVER 2004S>Installation and Upgrade>Windows Server --> ORACLE

Please filter out the essential components to install and run SAP XI.

Considering the fact, I have a formatted PC with no other SAP application installed.

Please help.

idont see any installable XI compenent here. it is giving oracle databse for windowsserver but not XI installation

Hi,

You can not get the installation DVDs from service.sap.com. You need to buy them from SAP directly applying for a license. Once you buy them, you will get all required installation copies in DVDs. You can download patches(Service Packs) from service.sap.com
