Sales order taking a long time to save (VA01 / VA02)

     Hi Experts,

   Can anyone tell me what are the possible causes of the delay? and if so how can it be resolved? I have noticed that every transaction that goes into vbak takes a lot longer.

Check with Basis teame for any issues with Update process in the system

Also check any locks exists at that time,If many users are trying to do create or change it will be slow

Hi Ariola,

1. Check if there is any old locks are there or not.

2. Check any updates are getting failed and also check the runtime dumps st22.

2. You can ask the DB team to run update stats on VBAK table if oracle.

Moreover , can you tell me the version of ECC and database using.
