MDM OCI mapping for SRM catalog

Former Member

Hi Guru’s,

We are trying to change the existing OCI mapping of the MDM field to a new field.

Issue is SRM –MDM OCI mapping change doesnot reflect in the MDM catalog for the field NEW_ITEM_PRICE.

We changed OCI mapping  for all the users but still it does not reflect the change when we open the Catalog in SRM .System still displays the data from the original MDM field.

It looks like a pretty standard step but doesnot reflect the change.

Do we need to refresh UI ? OR any help OR any version

We are on

SRM 7.0 EHP2

and MDM version 7.1.08.299

Regards

Vikrant

Hi Vikrant,

The issue you are facing i believe is because NEW_ITEM_PRICE is pre-mapped (hard-coded) field which you cannot change on the OCI interface. It will always fetch from your SRM-MDM

<Price Amount> field.

OCI provides several customer fields that are not used in the standard version of the SRM-MDM Catalog, for example NEW_ITEM-CUSTFIELD1 which you can use to map to your Custom SRM-MDM Catalog field but not NEW_ITEM_PRICE.

I hope this helped...

Thanks
