Developer Trace is as below and dev_w0 is attached for reference.

You need to unlock this account.

1.     ALTER USER SAPSR3 ACCOUNT UNLOCK; /to unlock

2.     ALTER USER SAPSR3 IDENTIFIED BY SAP; /to change password at oracle level

3.     To allow continued logon of the R/3 work processes using the OPS$ mechanism, you must also change the password in the SAPUSER table. The simplest way of making a consistent change in the Oracle dictionary and in the

SAPSR3 table is to use the " -f chpass" option of brconnect, for example:

brconnect -f chpass -o sapsr3 -p <new_password>

Also please check this thread.

Oracle SAPSR3 user locked

I hope this helps.

Hi Suman,

Can you please paste the R3trans -d logs.

Also specify which version of oracle you are using.

Ok, execute the command below and change the password by using brconnect, as suggested by the other friends

SQL> ALTER USER SAPSR3 ACCOUNT UNLOCK;

HI,

Please refer the Note 400241 - Problems with ops$ or sapr3 connect to Oracle

and refer section 1b.

In the log , I can see CONNECT failed with sql error '1017' error.

Please execute the following command and check whether it works.

brconnect -u system/<password> -f chpass -o <sapowner> -p <password>

Like

brconnect -u system/<Enter the system user password> -f chpass -o SAPSR3 -p t<o which password you need to change>

I faced this issue and fixed in this way.

You can give a try. Please share your feedback.

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal
