SRM MDM Search

Hello All!

We are currently in the middle of the upgrade project from SRM 4 to SRM 7 with MDM Catalogue.

After eventually managed to install all the components for the MDM Catalogue we are now able to see there are items in the catalogue: the Category drop down on the Search screen is filled with the categories from the Category items table, but the search doesn't bring any result back: the search icon keeps going but unless you click Back to Application there is no return from the catalogue.

Anybody has any idea what could we be missing? It looks like SRM talks to MDM but search doesn't bring anything back.

Any helpful suggestions will be much appreciated and rewarded.

What are the exact SRM-MDM Catalog and MDM versions?

Hi Elisabeta,

and your SRM-MDM version? (e.g. SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0 SP11 or  SRM-MDM Catalog 7.01 SP06)

I would try to deploy the latest patch with the corresponding MDM component versions.

We only have one MDM which is 7.01 SP8 - not sure what are you referring to regarding SRM-MDM.

In SRM we have EHP2 FOR SAP SRM 7.0.

check the component SRM_MDM_CAT in the component info at http://<J2EE_SERVER>:PORT/monitoring/ComponentInfo
