connection time out error

Hi all,

when i run for cache connectivity test for PI readiness check, am getting the below error

"500 Connection timed out".Let me know how can this be avoided and what parameter has to be set/extended

system details:pi7.31(abap+java),SunOS 5.10,oracle 11gr2
